Previously called Lutze & Associates, Edge Hill Accountancy was established in 1983. In 1997, the name of the firm was changed to Edge Hill Accountancy, a trusted and proud local business.

Ian has owned his accountancy practice since 1997. He has a wealth of experience, having spent over 30 years in the Accounting Industry, covering a diverse range of industries such as Primary Production, The Building Industry, Education, Services to the Hospitality Tourism Industry, Trust Account Audits and all aspects of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and many more.

 

Ian completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at James Cook University, (Townsville) in 1992. He then completed his CPA in 1998 and became a Fellow of the CPA Australia in 2007. Ian is a registered Tax Agent and Justice of the Peace Qualified.

    Fiona studied a Bachelor of Commerce at James Cook University, graduating in 2001 and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia since 2004. Fiona is also a registered tax agent. 


    Fiona is a Cairns local with focused areas of expertise in the field of Accountancy and Taxation. She works closely with small and medium sized businesses across a large range of industries with a particular interest in retail, primary industry, building and construction, medical and finance and insurance.

    Ninetta is a Cairns local and joined Edge Hill Accountancy in August 2020. Prior to commencing at Edge Hill Accountancy she work under the guidance of Garry Shirvington.


    Ninetta has more than 30 years' experience in Taxation Accounting. She enjoys working closely with a variety of clients across a range of industries including Retail Trade, Primary Industries, Building & Construction and Finance & Insurance.


    Ninetta’s areas of expertise are in Accounting and Taxation. She has experience in Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for small to large businesses including sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies. She also has experience with GST compliance and transactional advice, including BAS preparation, Capital Gains Tax compliance, Superannuation guarantee compliance and Accounting software technical support including Xero Software Certification.

    Emma previously worked at Intersport Cairns for 2 years as a Sales Assistant.


    In her spare time she enjoys Hockey, Golf, Watersports and Travelling.
